He'd do well at 197 and it helps the team
He is extremely strong, and looked really thin and lean at 184 last year. I think the talent is deeper at 184 than at 197, so he may have a more streamlined path to the semis at 197.
That would also open up 184 for a move up by Bolen, McFadden goes to 174, and Mehki Lewis slots in at 165. Lewis, MCFadden, Bolen and ZZ starts to look like a murderer's row backend like the team had a couple of years ago.
BTW, I don't say "bump him up" about anyone flippantly. Each of the key people in this suggested move up have the muscle mass to make it a weight class higher and probably cut muscle to stay at the lighter weights. That's when a bump up works.
As far as Borst goes, who knows. If you say we slot Borst in at 197 while ZZ stays at 184, then where does Lewis fit in? The other option is that Bolen takes a redshirt year to bulk up and adjust to 184. That also would allow David to move to 174, while Lewis takes 165.
